Multi-media artist Bunky Echo-Hawk (Yakama/Pawnee) will speak and perform at William & Mary on Wednesday, October 29 at 4:30 pm in Tucker Theater. He will speak about food sovereignty and other topics relevant to Indian Country today. He will also produce a piece of live art inspired by conversation and input from the audience.

With his art, Echo-Hawk has raised thousands for non-profits. In 2006, he co-founded NVision, a nonprofit collective of Native American artists, musicians, community organizers, and nonprofit workers who focus on Native youth empowerment. He also designs for Nike's N7 line. He's a traditional singer and dancer of the Pawnee Nation and an enrolled member of the Yakama Nation. He lives and works in Pawnee, OK.
