Jonathan Vaughters event

The W&M Bike Alliance is proud to present an Evening with Jonathan Vaughters. In 2003, Jonathan Vaughters stepped away from a successful career as a professional cyclist and with just $50,000 of his own money and a dream to foster ethical competition and the next generation of champions, he founded a development cycling squad of promising U.S. riders. He has turned that dream into a global organization, Slipstream Sports, which today runs the Cannondale-Drapac Pro Cycling Team ? a top American professional cycling team, boasting some of the sport?s best athletes.

On November 9th from 7:00 - 8:30 pm Jonathan will be our featured speaker for the year in the Commonwealth Auditorium. Jonathan will share his insights into the world of professional cycling which includes the ups and downs of running a successful team, and life after cycling. We look forward to a great evening with such an accomplished rider, businessman, entrepreneur, and international cycling ambassador.

This is a free event, open to the public but advanced tickets are required. Please visit this link to reserve your seat and if you would like additional information., visit here, for transportation.
