[PAST EVENT] 16th Annual Graduate Research Symposium
The focus of the Graduate Research Symposium is on the individual student and his or her research, though graduate students take the opportunity to discuss ongoing research in their fields.
The GRS is the only broadly themed, graduate student focused conference designed to bring together graduate students from differing areas of study and from all stages of the degree process. It is an exciting opportunity to share experiences common to students in all graduate school communities. In 2017 there will be more than 130 oral presentations and 24 posters by graduate students from all 11 W&M Graduate Arts & Sciences Programs and 11 regional institutions including Clemson University, College of Charleston, George Mason University, Harvard, James Madison University, Stanford, University of Connecticut, University of Miami, University of North Carolina, University of Pennsylvania, and Virginia Commonwealth University.
Sponsored by the Office of Graduate Studies and Research, Office of the Provost and the A&S Graduate Student Association. All presentations are free to attend and open to the public. The 2017 program and schedule of presenters can be found on the web.
