The Roy R. Charles Center for Academic Excellence and dotDemocracy present the 2014 Weingartner Digital Citizenship Forum. This event will host panelists discussing the impacts of the Internet on democracy, and the potential of the web to strengthen democratic ideals like civic engagement and civil discourse. The Forum will culminate in the presentation of ideas submitted by Finalists of the 2014 Weingartner Digital Citizenship Challenge.

Panelists include:
- Nicco Mele, founder of EchoDitto, Adjunct Lecturer at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
- Adam Conner, Manager for Public Policy at Facebook
- Anthea Watson Strong, Google Politics and Elections
- Katie Dowd, former Senior Advisor to the US Chief Technology Officer, currently with the Clinton Foundation
- Sam Novey, TurboVote
- Max Novendstern, Our Common Place

Admission is free and a buffet dinner will be provided. The event will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 5:00pm-8:30pm at the Mason School of Business, Brinkley Commons. Tickets are limited and open to the public so attendees are required to register by Friday, February 7th.
